It did happen. This crap didn't manifest in a vacuum. Russia manipulated our social media, sowed distrust in facts and logic, and generally unraveled this country at the seams. They saw a population of people willing to dismantle their own country and enabled them every step of the way.

Roughly 20 states have refused to turn over data on their voters. Bondi recently said that if MN turned over their voter registration data the raids would ease. If the end goal is disarming opposition, voter data is a key tool.

Recent history has shown that Republicans applaud when their own people show up heavily armed to protests, then cheer ICE for executing a man in the street for having a pistol. It's a dangerous double-precedent.

I believe it's pretext to demand that political dissenters be disarmed. The real scary bit is that the DOJ wants state voter information, and they're using an "immigration crisis" to justify it. Not enough states have compiled yet to single specific people out.
