I don’t go on side quests, I go on trans missions

so, just know that I see you as a person independent of what your parents are doing or saying

I share these thoughts bc if I got to meet an artist I care about, I might be haunted by either of these scenarios... feeling like my parents had made me offensive by association, or that they misrepresented my identity. all of it could feel like it messed up my special moment

2. I take the pronouns/names/terms your parents use for *you* with a huge grain of salt. sometimes they're like "my daughter" and I'm like "sure"

1. sometimes at the merch table your parents misgender me and I see the horror/dismay/panic on your face because you don't feel safe correcting them and I just want you to know that it's okay, it doesn't reflect on you

lady at beach, to me: hey kid! could bury that dead bird? just so someone doesn’t step on it
me: of course! [obediently digs a shallow grave with my bare hands]

did anyone in minneapolis get video of dusty singing “what I felt surely was a sparkbird” at the end of waterfall? I will give my nonexistent firstborn for this video
