Illinois' SG had a tough go at the Supreme Court this morning arguing that a GOP candidate lacks standing to challenge the state's mail-in ballot deadline. #SCOTUS

The Republican mail-in ballot challenge currently being argued at #SCOTUS is an example of how liberal justices have become the new hawks on standing. Only Justice Kagan seems to contemplate how restrictive standing rules for election challenges could harm Democrats in the future.
