I grew up in Arkansas during the old Southwest Conference where I learned to tell Aggie jokes and do the Horns down sign. Still, I had high hopes for a great game tonight in the return if they rivalry. Alas, I’ve fallen asleep multiple times watching A&M not make a real threat.

Auburn looked stellar. A bit deflating after Memphis getting two big wins but I’m still hopeful for this season. Was a fun Maui tourney.

One of the things I dislike about global work is meetings at off hours, specifically 7 am today but sometimes 6 am and even 1 am once. Of course it’s a blessing to work with individuals from wonderful organizations like today’s gathering with WHO, PAHO and UNICEF.

I manage communications for St. Jude Global, an initiative of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital that is focused on collaborating with hospitals, NGOs and others around the world to improve pediatric cancer survival, especially in LMICs.

I thought it odd the Grizzlies-Lakers on Wednesday was regular season while another game that night was NBA Cup.

As an observer of his madness in the 90s, it’s weird to say Tyson. As a kid of the 80s, I proudly say Tyson even though I never won the game.

That’s good company as well.
