I think it's best for everyone to understand that the unified class project of billionaires right now is to do to white collar workers what globalization and neoliberalism did to blue collar workers.

Public opinion might have been on their side, but for how long? And it seems the American public has a very short memory unless things are bad for them personally.

We're reduced to being pawns in a political game so long as the staggering ignorance of the average American is maintained.

I thought this might have been the play with health subsidies in the last shutdown. Would it have been a win if they got extended subsidies but the public only heard about how Democrats were shutting down the government over the holidays?

To be arrested they must have been indicted, right? How's this even getting past the grand jury? We'd recently heard about, e.g., Letitia James and the federal government's failure to get an indictment.

I believe that we'll find repression and/or violence are the only paths forward from here. The sooner the broader public recognizes our only choices the sooner they can decide which they prefer.

I have been told that this undercover ICE agent tried to get observers to scan a QR code “for his website”. The QR code did not resolve to a link.

DO NOT SCAN UNKNOWN QR CODES FROM STRANGERS.

This is a massive security risk! Bad things can happen to you if you do it!

Image claiming to show Trump dancing with underage girl is fake False. Trump’s campaign and an expert on synthetic images say the image isn’t real. The visual has the telltale signs of one made using programs powered by generative artificial intelligence.

Maybe I'm old and out of touch, but the Internet was where you would go to connect with "underground" subcultures. You could find information about making explosives, ceremonial magic, furry porn, hacking/phreaking, psychedelic drugs, etc. and now there are five websites and a billion online stores.

For the last 8 years it seemed plausible that maga might implode leaving the Democrats to act as Republics with a progressive party forming. I'm not confident it works the other way where D's collapse.
