Call me a nerd but robot combat is so fucking cool. I’ve been watching the June NHRL qualifiers for the past few days when I have free time and it’s so much fun.

Semi related: I’m not what you would call a weed user. Average of less than once per year, probably didn’t use for over a decade at one point. Tried a low THC strain on Friday and for the first time ever actually enjoyed being high instead of having awful couch lock. Might look into that some more.

I haven’t taken my ADHD meds since Thursday. And I’m oddly doing very well. Not sure if that means I’m on the wrong meds/dose or was just overdue for a tolerance break or what. But I’m happy about it.

Minor parenting win: 4 yo refused to try a bite of scrambled eggs at IHOP, then started crying that he wanted to try a bite on the way to the car. Compromise: me making an egg for him when we got home. He tried a bite like he promised and said it was yummy, even though he didn’t eat a second bite.

I'm not what you would call "good with money" so I do order delivery sometimes. What I don't do is complain about the price when I do it. I made that bed, I will lie in it.

Sometimes my wife and I are just emotionally drained at the end of the day, so we'll order some Grubhub or whatever, but we know full well that we're paying way more than we would otherwise. We don't go on Twitter and say people should be jailed because we're not ridiculous.

I assume "nu-male" are the male members of a nu-metal band, such as Corey Taylor from Slipknot, and a "nu-female" would be a female member of such a band, like Amy Lee from Evanescence.
