I have been away from social media for quite some time due to mental health issues. Now tell me, did this place become more vivid over the past few months or are we all still on twitter?

I started my new WIP in first person present and it just didn't click with me. I will change it to first person past and I'm relieved that I decided this after the first chapter, not the last 😂

I believe nobody noticed but I have been away from social media for quite some time. I am thinking about being more active again and the new WIP I started yesterday may be just the right reason. I will need to scream into the void from time to time, I'm sure :)

Yesterday, I finally started the first round of edits on my manuscript. This is so exciting and I hope I can pull this off and make it better in the process :)

In the course of writing my WIP took a turn for the dark and I like the new vibes it created. Now I really hope the allover plot presents itself as soon as I start rewriting 😏

With my current WIP I understand "all vibes, no plot" a lot better. I'm nearly 30k words in and I'm still not sure what the overall plot is or how to connect the scenes properly. Let's hope I'll figure it out in time.

Well, it took me some time but the scene is done. It's not perfect but I like it and it gives me something to work on once I start editing. The manuscript really took a dark turn and it shows in the sex scenes too. I'm excited to see where this leads me 🤭

I really love writing these scenes. I don't know if I'm any good at it but enjoy it very much. I happily provide you with an update 😏

This is how I'm going to start my sex scene and I think it's pretty nice. It's not really #NSFW but I don't wanna get in trouble, so that's why I decided to put a CW on it.

Thank you. It's often hard to find a good (and sexy) start to the scene. When I got it, the scene mostly writes itself. So, I'm at least optimistic 😏

I hate that. I'm not saying that something that is commercial or appealing to the masses is a bad thing. I like a lot of that shit, really 😂 But for myself, I like to create something that people enjoy who are into the same weird stuff that I'm into.

This is so exciting. Congrats on all these milestones. Fingers crossed that everything is going the way you hope!

I stopped just before the next sex scene and I hope it's going to be as good on paper as it is in my head 😂

Firstly, fingers crossed that you reach your goal. I'm sure you can do it. Getting support is essential imo. It gives you a boost and helps to dissolve some of the doubts that may ail you 😏 I like it, that's for sure 😂

Absolutely, writing what you want to read is the way to a satisfying result. If you enjoy your stories, there will be others out there who will too. Well, hopefully 😂🤪

That sounds fascinating. I think one of the best examples of a work inspiring a shitload of creatives is Star Wars. The chosen one theme (orphan) who grows up to save the world (well, galaxy) etc. You can break down so many works to just that. I do that ever so often 😂

Oh gosh, originality, right? There are so many books (movies/shows/etc) and so many themes. Of course, in my work, there are pieces of the things that influenced me as a writer. It was hard to accept at first, but there's nothing reprehensible about it. It's about how you tell the stories...

I felt the very same. Thinking not being good enough, that nobody would ever want to read what I have written. Now I understand that I write for myself first and foremost, still I hope someone will enjoy my stories one time. Duh!

Wow, I really admire writers who can do series. I think it's very challenging to keep everything straight and tell a story over several books. However, I'm thinking about a second book for one of my ms too. No idea how that might work... 😂🤭

Writing is such a powerful tool to express oneself. The manuscript I'm working on right now started as some kind of filler until I start editing my other ms. But now, it feels so good and it takes turns I never expected it to take. Some parts I love so much I read them over and over. Yeah, pride 😂

I see. Powerful stuff you're writing as it seems. I like it. Older characters are still quite rare and it's good to see them finding their place.
