Have been for a while, Valve made the Steamdeck, which is their handheld Linux gaming console, and a compatibility tool called Proton that's based off of Wine, and automatically wraps itself onto every Steam game in your library. 90+ percent of all Steam games run seamlessly through Proton.

The only machine I have running Windows now is my Surface, that I need for work, so even then it is VERY sparingly used.

Took <20 minutes to stand up a Mint install on one of my miniPCs. This will be a good test platform since it’s a Ryzen 9 6900HX, my next full desktop build will be Red/Red and AMD have the best Linux driver support.

Investigating running Mint as my desktop OS of choice for my gaming PC once MS ends support for Windows 10 in October. So far so mid? Everything runs through Proton so it remains to be seen how performance is impacted.
