Thought your sub might be doing the author a disservice, but no: headline and article are both crap. Merely putting quotation marks around reciprocal is as disingenuous as Trump using the term and quoting his absurd claim "billions will start flowing into the US" without qualification is dishonest.

I have long thought one factor behind Brexit was that many Brits cannot bear the thought they are simply equal to forrins. And, it would seem, not a few rejoiners seem to feel entitled to special treatment, on account of their Britishness. El Kheselden poopooed this, but then of course "they" would.

Like that mindset is one of the major obstacles to rejoining, in my opinion. Who'd want that whiny, demanding kind of member in one's club?

Guess we should be careful with pronouns then and use they, them when referring to AH in that case?
