Have I mentioned before how I used to wonder why in speculative fiction the US was always shown as being super comfortable about becoming a fascist state?
It always left me wondering how a country that crowed so much about their rights and freedoms could become so compliant and subservient.

Water companies have been dumping sewage on UK farms and turns out it can be packed with microplastics and harmful chemicals. This is polluting our rivers and contaminating the soil that grows our food.
