19.02.2026 15:24 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0With the monarchy's popularity tanking and him already being in poor health, I would not be surprised if Charles III gets the George V treatment to get his much more popular son onto the throne.
19.02.2026 15:22 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0(It's a bit ironic that you mentioned Claude Code because of all the generative AI products coding assistance is the only one that isn't a scam)
18.02.2026 21:22 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The reasonable postion is that if you eliminated the 95% of the AI industry that is theft and scams, the remaining 5% would run easily on existing infrastructure without turning the Amazon into Saurumon's tower from LotR.
Inshallah when the bubble pops this will happen naturally.
AI is revolutionizing the world! A Playstation now costs $5,000 and this is the last phone you will ever own.

18.02.2026 17:23 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Code is what the LLMs are actually good at, because code is formulaic unlike language. When the AI bubble pops, I think what you'll have left is the search/coding tools and they will continue to improve.
18.02.2026 14:36 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Some of the strongest critics of AI I have seen are people who work in tech and think AI will someday be useful in the future, but that it's definitively not useful now, and they can explain *why* that's the case because they have the expertise to do it.
18.02.2026 14:28 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0(In fact I'm pretty sure Senator Sanders used that exact phrase in an email to his constituents that I got yesterday)
18.02.2026 14:24 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I don't think you need to make the distinction until you're actually in office regulating it. During the campaign I think you can just run on people talking about noise/air/water polution from datacenters and talk about out of control VC.
"AI must work for us and not the other way around."
AI pattern recognition is a useful tool in medical reseaech. LLMs will eventually get good enough at code to be useful assistants to human devs.
Highlight that, and then explain that no, Sam Altman is not going to create god and he's poisoning the water supply in rural Georgia for no reason.
It's not *that* hard. If, rather than just taking a blanket anti-AI stance, critics took the time to highlight the small number of things AI can actually be used for, it would make the scams more obvious AND give the critics more credibility.
18.02.2026 14:12 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0The Liberals are the nationalist party in Canada because, since Reagan, CPC has married itself to the United States(Not specifically to Republicans, they had a good relationship with Clinton too).
So when the Boomers are in a nationalist mood, like they are now, they vote Liberal.
Nah those are the racist SocDems who supported FDR but left the party because Kenbedy/Johnson backed the Civil Rights movement.

18.02.2026 08:27 β π 273 π 39 π¬ 15 π 5I mean, it's the developer's channel and not the LLM streaming on its own, so there's actual content to be had and not just slop, but I think that's close enough.
