Our leaders and countless patriots have a good reason for publicly reminding US soldiers to refuse illegal orders. Why it's a controversy. It's because many of our soldiers have been obeying illegal orders.

Just a reminder to all Defense Force members, if you commit a crime and you are prosecuted, “I was just obeying orders” will not be an acceptable defense if it was an illegal order.

You are expected to know the Constitution that you’ve sworn to protect.

This times a million. If I accepted a $25 gift from someone whose business with our firm I could influence, I'd be (rightfully) fired.
