Wellycon was truly an amazing time. Picked up 4!!! new board games, played multiple prototypes (all of which were awesome) and got lots of feedback on my own as well. I miss it already and can't wait for next year!

At Wellycon all weekend! Starting this morning with Blood on the Clocktower. Very excited to be playing once again with strangers. I've also brought along my prototype board game! Come find me and let's play some board games together!

This is gonna be me and Teag! Playing a pair of brothers who have stumbled into a world of magic that is a little more than they can handle at times...

NOES7/New Nightmare: very self-referential. Feels like a mix of Scream sequel and weirdly the babadook? Definitely for you if you like self-referential films/humour.

NOES6: Absolutely bonkers. Made in 1991 but set in 2001, "all of the children in springwood are dead... except one"

NOES5: We fell asleep. Back awake and ready for 6 now though...

NOES4: The goodies one so far by a long shot and it's not even close. We're fully devoid of any characters from the first film at this point. I can't tell how much of this is the movie being delirious or me. Jack informs me that Freddy began appearing on MTV at around the time this film came out

NOES3: This one was way more religious than I was expecting. Special effects were incredibly impressive for 1987. A return (mostly) to the base premise of the first film and feels like much more a direct sequel than 2 was

NOES2: Freddy's Revenge. Still campy horror fun, but not nearly as well put together as the first. Feels like it breaks from the core premise for something more cliche

Roxy nightmare on elm Street marathon. Starting with the OG, just as good as I remember it. Although more alcoholism and home alone-esque shenanigans than I recalled

PB&Jam 48 hour Gamejam in the NZ games festival has begun. I am participating alongside Charlie Jones and Ben Kelly. Hour 4.5 and we are making a game about a star. The camera is broken, Charlie's laptop refuses to connect to internet, and BK made the most threatening music for our "chill game"

Lia has built a fort which states that it is "hungry". She is feeding it bread that she made earlier. It is 6am

We are playing Hide and Seek.
It is 5.48am

Audience is finally making good on their promise to write a rap about Phoebe. It is 5.25am.

Literally as I wrote this they changed their minds and now are singing along as Lia plays Wonderwall. It is 4.40am.

The show has devolved. Some of the audience is now shouting for Lia to write a song/rap, while others are trying to get her to send a "U up?" message

Night is always darkest run 2. It is 3am and Lia has been told to Cry for 15 minutes. When asked what kind of cry, we got "when doves cry by prince". She is currently listening with her toy cow while the audience sings along
