New Gallup analysis today shows the scale of the housing affordability crisis in the OECD.
In 2024, a median of 43% across the OECD were satisfied with the availability of good, affordable housing in their areas, compared with 50% in the rest of the world.

Canadian views of U.S. leadership have swung sharply over time: an average of 61% approved of Washington under Obama, 19% under Trump's first term, and 41% under Biden.
Aside from 2021, Biden's first year, most Canadians have disapproved of Washington since 2017.
