It's ironic that the people who advocate discussions and talking the most, either

1) Is not personally invested in the outcome, just that there is an outcome or
2) is in a position of authority

The phrase "be the change you want to see." Comes to mind...

The problem with the notion of success, is that you're avoiding failure as well. Sometimes I think the point is to try as much as you personally can, in the way you personally work best.

It is good to strive for perfection, but it's never good to assume perfection is possible. It's 1/x as x goes to 0 situation.

I am always wrong. I just strive to be less wrong than everyone else.

The meaning of life: To survive.
The meaning of your life: To live a meaningful life.

To survive doesn't mean YOU survive...but life. Within our experience and time to live, we are meant to make it meaningful for others.

You can't really trust someone if you can't criticize them as well. The people I trust in doing something I also trust in their reactions to me.

Trusting someone simply in their success is a house of cards that leads to failure and disappointment and tears and dumpster fires.

There is always your way, or the right way. Ego assumes they align. Self awareness realizes they will never align.

The best will always strive to get them to align better than everyone else all the while secretly knowing it is a hopeless cause...but doing it anyways.

It's incredible how some of the most publicly calm people can be the most angry privately. I once had a manger who encouraged "healthy conflict" only to blame my attitude and behavior at every turn. Preached there are more important things in life, but angry at my ideas. Was nice once I quit...
