As much as it pains me to say it, I will be boycotting the #MilanoCortina #WinterOlympics. Their new policy targeting transgender athletes is discriminatory and unacceptable. I will not support any events that choose prejudice over fairness. Thank you for your attention to this matter! —WA

Every November, I wear a poppy for my great-grandfather, who left home to fight the Nazis. He didn't do it for glory or theatrics, but because fascism was a real threat. His sacrifice, and those of millions like him, will always command my respect.

I'm proud. I'm grateful. 🇨🇦 #lestweforget

ADAMS TONIGHT returns from hiatus to discuss Budget 2025, the 40,000 job cuts, and why Poilievre backed the Liberals on a confidence vote. A thoughtful conversation with @Michael Harris on what real leadership should look like, and why Canada deserves better. ⬇️

Chris d'Entremont didn't suddenly become an economics rebel. The truth is, most Conservative voters would cheer for Carney's budget if it had a blue C logo slapped on it. This proves how far off the rails Poilievre's dragged the CPC. A total failure of leadership.

Finally getting around to posting some photos from Thursday at the Marriott. These didn't fit my op-ed, but they're perfect for social media. First up, me with Jonathan Rowe. My mom was very jealous that I got to meet an MP from back in pirate country 🏴‍☠️

ADAMS: Zoomers Showed Up for Poilievre, He Brought Nothing but Slogans A youth-heavy Conservative rally revealed both the growing appeal of Poilievre's message and how little policy it contains.

A magazine cover for The Provincial Times dated November 2nd, 2025. The background image shows a crumpled political sign on a carpet that reads “DON’T SACRAFICE OUR FUTURE…” and includes the Conservative Party logo. Bold headline text across the image says “ZOOMERS SHOWS UP. POILIEVRE DOESN’T.” Subheading reads “Poilievre’s promised Gen Z answers but delivered a tedious joke and zero policy.” A small text box on the right contains an excerpt criticizing Poilievre for offering no real solutions despite inviting students to share their struggles. The top banner includes the paper’s slogan, “Independent. Progressive. Unapologetic.” and a note that it’s brought to readers by Left Lane Media Group.

My latest op-ed from Thursday's Poilievre rally: a room full of Zoomers, big emotions, zero policies, and a whole lot of sloganeering. Why young people keep showing up, and why progressives keep losing them. Read below 🔽

Nobody's asking for an election, but it's Carney who decides if one happens. His job now is to deliver a budget reasonable enough so that at least part of the opposition can support it. Governing means finding common ground, not daring others to pull the plug.

@thisiswilladams.bsky.social attended Jamil Jivani’s “Restore the North” event expecting partisan theatre and finds something more complicated. His op-ed examines the Conservatives’ free speech rhetoric, the limits of real dialogue, and what genuine debate should look like.

And by that definition, Daniel Tyrie himself—son of a foreign-born father—would also be 'at most, half Canadian.' " The photo credit is Rob Tyrie/X.

Daniel Tyrie is the perfect example of why I can't take modern “anti-woke” conservatism seriously. It's people paying actual money to be told their heritage somehow makes them more legitimate than their neighbours. It's arrogance dressed up as patriotism, and it's pathetic. 🔽

Gavin Newsom isn't transphobic; he's just not a good ally. He's ignorant, not malicious. But “ignorant” isn't an excuse when you have power. And acting like we can't call that out because “Trump is worse” is the dumbest political logic imaginable.
