A fine example of the General Purpose Ride Control System (a.k.a “GPRCS”, pronounced “jeepers” because the “C” is silent). In an era before modern touch screen technology, the control screen was accomplished using rows of IR LED emitters & sensors forming a grid over the surface of the CRT monitor.

I distinctly remember sitting in a Cracker Barrel in 2016, looking at all of the vintage displays, and thinking that when we need to restart civilization, this would be the first place I would go.
