Wandering around #mamothhotsprings watching the steam and water flowing in the cold of February and this rock next to the boardwalk doing the yin yang thing with light and shadow, holding snow and melting snow just caught my eye.

I have begun a rather large undertaking. Part of that is to reprint the lantern slides that Richard and John Wetherill took when they first visited places like Hovenweep, Mesa Verde; to see them as they were originally seen. next part is still under wraps but my history friends will like it too.

Coyote, the trickster always breaking the rules and generally paying the price for his choices, but damn they guy has a good time!

While the trash panda is my favorite animal the coyote comes in at a close second. Their adaptability is amazing as is their ability to just look awesome on a hilltop.
