Nod-Krai is shaping up to be really good so far. Lots of good setup without being overbearing, and I’ve noticed lots of optional little things to run into. I really hope that things keep moving that way.

The music is phenomenal of course.

I hope we get the political drama we hoped for in Inazuma.

51+ hours in with level 9 golden pumpkins, and I gotta say it’s literally unplayable-

I realized I’ve been posting a few critiques of Azuma so let me be clear.

I love this game so so much and it could easily rise to be my favorite in the series by the time I’m done with it.

Actually “a lot” is an overstatement, I should say a select few.

Yeah, a lot of her airheadedness comes across as more grounded/more of her joking around in RF1.

Azuma has some really good designs but I feel a lot of the non-marriage villagers kinda got left behind, or simply don’t look as striking in 3D for whatever reason.

I can see your point, but RF1 character design aesthetics are amazing imo, and I actually prefer some of Mist’s characterization in that one a little more than Frontier.

Tho the nostalgia goggles are on hard for RF1 I will admit.
