Jera the Wizard ✨🏳️‍⚧️

A screenshot from my Minecraft single player world, which is called Jerascape. The sun is setting, and in the foreground you can see the main building I'm referring to. The building is mostly in shades of red and blue, with some shades of brown as well. There is a terrace on one side with a lot of wide openings, and on the other side the building is taller and opens into a second floor. I'm not very good at describing buildings, apologies. In the background you can see some floating islands, and my initial gazebo from this world.

The building is mostly in shades of red and blue, with some shades of brown as well. The side that's facing us is largely very light blue, and has a mostly green copper roof. To the left in the foreground, you can see two of the other gazebo-like buildings from earlier in this world.

The interior of the building, just as you would walk in the front door. The floor is mostly made of brown spruce wood and red glazed terracotta blocks in a sort of clover pattern. On the left side, the floor becomes populated by many barrels, to become a subtle storage system. The room is red, blue, brown, and grey, with some waterlogged mangrove roots.

Been playing idly in my singleplayer for the first time in a while :) It's nice to get back in. I built this larger building that has become my new home and storage, and I'm adding some monster hunter inspired touches to the outer parts of the base.

I didn't play minecraft til 2020, so I wasn't there for the herobrine lore when it became part of the zeitgeist. However, I understand its horror well. As someone who has usually played multiplayer minecraft, I have this ominous feeling in my rare instances of singleplayer. Like someone is watching.

This is disgusting. The Smithsonian has apparently decided that they stand for nothing and that their legacy is disposable

I feel strongly that Sesame Street is one of the greatest contributions to societal empathy ever. This is such a stark symbol of how far down a terrible path we are.

It's just like in French class. You just gotta go up to people like "Is the dog brown?" and then they'll go "Yes, the dog is brown. Are you employed?" and then you'll go "Yes, I work at the good store. What time is it?" and then they'll go "It is 3pm" etc etc, it's how all great friendships are born
