I cannot believe the Chargers didn’t fire Elroy Jetson on the flight back to LA.

I’m still sitting here in awe trying to figure out how someone would not think those two things are connected. If you shut down the email address where your alerts go to, there’s a pretty good chance you’re no longer going to see those alerts. You probably don’t need IT to diagnose that for you. 

A team contacted me asking if we could help troubleshoot because they stopped getting some email alerts. I don’t have access to their app, but I asked if they made any recent changes to an email DL or anything like that, and they said they decommissioned the mailbox where the alert were going!!!!

Trying to hype myself up for a TesseracT concert tonight.  I feel like I’m just young enough to still go to weeknight concerts, but I did take a vacation day tomorrow just to be safe.

The weirdest thing about North Texas weather is the delightful “Second Spring” we get this time of year. After everything gets baked in 100+ degree weather for like 10 weeks without a drop of rain, we often get heavy autumn rains that make everything temporarily green again before the leaves drop.

Say what you will about the Cybertruck, but there is something intriguing about owning a bullet proof truck that can also brick itself if your Wi-Fi goes down in the middle of the night while its doing a software update.

On a side note - this is also a good time in Texas to watch lifted, heavy duty trucks drive 15 MPH under the speed limit since giant lift kits and fancy rims often cannot actually handle precipitation or anything but dry pavement in general.

It’s raining for the first time in what feels like years here in Texas. I’m looking forward to my drive home since I know that Texans handle inclement weather like champs!

Nothing about how my life has turned out is a surprising to me as the fact that I love morning and sunrises so much now. Even as recently as 10 years ago, I used to think of going to bed before 1 AM as a moral failure.

It’s pretty wild how extreme the differences can be. I am at a point where I’m questioning whether I even believe rain is a real thing anymore. It’s been so long since it’s rained down here, I don’t remember what it’s like.

“What if we reboot, like, Silence of the Lambs or something, but we slightly change it?”

“I mean, that’s been done. And it’s a little violent for prime time.”

“Well, what if we make it a little less violent … and we make it about, I don’t know, how about kidnappings?”

“Genius!”

Every piece of technology with smartphones gets progressively better each year with the exception of talk-to-text. Somehow that and digital assistants as a whole are worse now than five years ago. I don’t get it.

I initially started taking GED classes, but it was tough. I went back to my HS and begged the principal to let me go back. They let me back on the condition I was going to enlist. So it worked out for me, but shit happens. Anyone who the discipline to get it done after dropping out gets my respect.

I needed a handful of credits to graduate my senior year but was a moron and ended up dropping out before November. A year later I realized my life was going nowhere so tried to join the army. They told me I needed a GED or diploma. It was easier to swallow my pride and go back to HS than get a GED.

By trading for Damian Lillard, the Bucks made themselves somewhat better, and made the Celtics a lot better. The Heat are the big losers here though.

The Lions not sucking is the sports version of getting red pilled.

Yeah, I don’t guzzle the stuff, but I put it on a bun-less burger 1-2 times a month and I’ve never tasted strong vinegar.

It shouldn’t be surprising that a team full of rookies and second year players with a back-up offensive line does not look great. Despite what Packers management says, this is a rebuilding year.

I keep seeing this post and it pisses me off so much. People are unironically replying and telling her how great of a person she is, which is clearly the goal. Just fucking say you have an old washer and dryer to give away and don’t try to make it seem like it’s charity.

I’m seriously contemplating a career change and have it narrowed down to these two fields:

1. The guy that edits the bottom of musicians’ Wikipedia articles to say they are Christians.
OR
2. The guy that scrolls through Facebook/Instagram to reply with a laughing emoji at every article about EVs.

From an old coworker on Facebook. Translation: “we bought a new washer and dryer and we want someone to take our old ones off our hands so we don’t have to bother getting rid of them.”

There’s a dude who lives in my building with a gorgeous turquoise Porsche 911 GT3. The other day I was walking in the garage and I heard what I thought was building maintenance in a side-by-side, but when I turned around it was the GT3. How can something that looks so cool sound so fucking lame?

I guess the answer to that is LSU grads who drive white, lifted HD trucks, but it was more of a rhetorical question anyway. 

What sort of person wants to broadcast to the world, “I very much do not like a specific college football coach?”

It’s one thing if a company doesn’t honor a sales promotion, it’s a completely different thing when they take $800 worth of your property in trade and just never pay you because of a computer glitch.
