It's almost like there is a pattern here.

The only way America is winning is if you consider Trump's stagflation winning. The Federal Reserve is screwed with Trump's lack of economic growth and inflation.

The ADL is clearly a Zionist anti-Islam and anti-Arab organization. If they call anyone an anti-Semite, the person being smeared should hold onto it as a badge of honor.

You mean the $40 Billion Metro expansion that keeps going more over budget every year? I'm not sure how efficient that really is in the scheme of things.

I'm glad to see people blame the party that has a majority in both houses and the Presidency for the lock up shutting down the Congress.

Yep, I think it is incredibly important to realize that cars are a complete nonstarter once you get above certain population densities. Your options are reduce population density or embrace low cost mass transit.

It's tough to make it more efficient when you are overlaying new mass transit over a 400 year old city.

I think you hit the nail on the head. For all the talk of NYC's record turn out, about a third of eligible voters voted. In the 2024 election over a third chose not to vote for President.

I think the biggest problem with Democracy in America, is that most of the electorate are morons or sheep.

The only buzz I'm hearing is how bad Kardashian is. Then again, I'm not in a circle of people who cares about Ryan Murphy's trash TV.

I'm roughly the same age and only know a couple. I can't tell you how uninterested I am in what people are doing in their bedrooms or private lives if it doesn't hurt others. I personally think they are taking a hard path in their life, but it is their lives. I don't understand others problem.

If Trump wants to end Shutdown, I suggest he either gets off his butt and negotiates with Senators to get 60 votes to invoke cloture, or get the Senate to end filibusters.

05.11.2025 15:17 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Except a city as big as NYC absolutely needs affordable mass transit, because driving doesn't work as a solution in a city that dense. If you force 8.5 million people to drive, you will face permanent gridlock.

You're dead on. If we've learned anything in the post-Reagan and post-Thatcher era, the more you give to the wealthy, the more they want.

It probably has to do with the Rural areas becoming crazy, I wouldn't say Conservative, but populist. I think urban areas are rebelling against the insanity of believing that mollycoddling the rich, which clearly hasn't helped the median voters. Shifting the tax burden away from the 1% is a disaster

I'm pretty sure the thing affecting the stock market is an AI bubble popping.
However, if they want to end the shutdown, they either need to negotiate to get the Senate votes to get cloture, or they need to end the filibuster. It's all in the Republicans hands since they control the senate and house

I don't think they are worried about someone else taking Warners because Zaslav has kind of turned that into a shitshow. What, does someone really want to take on all that debt for the shitshows that are CNN or Discovery? I know Netflix has pretty much said they don't want to waste time with Cable

Congrats to Mamdani. BTW, you'll hear how this is the biggest turnout in ages, but I think that only 1/3 of eligible voters voted.

We should remember Charlie Sykes was a right wing Wisconsin radio host who was licking Cheney's nards through the Bush Sr and Bush Jr years. Of course he is going to try to whitewash Cheney since they were on the same side of manufacturing consent for an Iraq war.

On the other hand, it opens up space for local mom and pop diners and breakfast joints. I know in my area, there are a lot of local non-chain restaurants that are vastly superior to Denny's.

I'm becoming convinced that one of the biggest worldwide problems are the amount of Nepobabies who have plenty of money and/or influence to throw at stupidity and corruption. RFK Jr., Donald Trump, Shari Redstone, Elon Musk, they are throughout the House and Senate, etc.

Is that a bad thing? I can't remember the last time I stepped foot in Denny's. Either I go to a local non chain diner or I go to Waffle House. Last time I was at Denny's they had raised Meh to an art.

I have to say, I appreciate it that Nick Fuentes doesn't bother with Dog Whistles or Code Words. He lays out the GOP racism in a direct, honest way.

The thing I find funniest about Religion. There are thousands of interpretations, and everyone believes theirs is correct. I believe the Christian World Encyclopedia lists 45,000 different Christian churches, sects or denominations. Good luck trying to change Fundamentalists.

04.11.2025 16:32 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

You're free to believe it, but your interpretation only matters to yourself, and I'm sure will be roundly rejected by the fundamentalists who make up a majority of the Conservative Christians. If you are many of the conservative Christians, the NT is literally anti-Semitic in multiple places.

04.11.2025 15:26 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

You're welcome to your interpretation. The Conservative Christians are welcome to theirs, which I have laid out, which is the literal interpretation which is clearly anti-semitic. My interpretation is the Old Testament is Jewish Mythology, and the New Testament is Christian Mythology.

I really, really would like to hear a rational explanation for Tesla stock price. Tesla doesn't even own xAI so you can't even claim that.

Tesla is a car company that is grossly overvalued compared to every other car company.

Nice suppositions about Constantine and Rome with absolutely no evidence to back them up. The only source for the death of Jesus is the New Testament, and it clearly states that Pilate was indifferent, and it was the Jew mob lead by their religious leaders who begged for Jesus' death.

Looks to me like Tucker, Nick Fuentes, and Tucker's defenders have bigger audiences than those condemning Tucker.
