So… The Bay Area Council’s “rally” to close the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge trail is being held in the middle of the freeway, only accessible by car. That basically says it all.

Tons of public resources being used for this event today. How is this legal?

This delay is good news, likely a result of all the folks who wrote in and expressed their concerns about the trail closure proposal. Thank you!

It's the opposite on the separated bike paths. I exchange pleasantries with a lot of the same people (who are biking or walking) in that safer, more relaxed space.

Mulholland, who is president of the San Francisco Wheelman, a bicycle racing club, said his bicycle is his only means of transportation. "I've long felt this is an unnecessary discrimination against bicycle riders," Mulholland said, "and I've chosen to ignore the rule against ike riding ont he east walkay while being fully are of the consequences." Mulholland said he plans to bicycle to the Marin civic center today "rain or shine" and hopes to appear at the traffic court promptly at 9 AM when it opens.
