Getting sucked into a lit review rabbit hole, but not sure how to dig your way out? We can help! Feeling uncertain about the best way to frame your critique of other scholarship? We can help! Rewriting your intro over and over instead of digging into the body of your article? We can help!

Started by the incredible Dada Docot a few years ago, it's a great space where we pomodoro thru writing (and emails + course prep), but other writing activities welcome!

Image of NYT headline: "Tourists Were Told to Avoid Maui. Many Workers Want Them Back." Article excerpt reads: A plunge in tourism after a disastrous fire has already crippled the economy in Maui. Now, some locals who wanted visitors to stay away are urging them back.

The NYT "poor real estate owners and their sad empty office buildings" is making the rounds today, but don't sleep on this Kanaka-silencing claim that Maui "locals" want their tourism back after the fires. Sure, more extraction, colonialism, and more long-distance carbon-emitting flights will help 🙄

Any rule about how you are "supposed to" read anything is a lie! An exclusionary and often ableist one! Read it once or a million times. Skim it or spend hours on every page. Visual or audio. Read however brings you pleasure, however works best for the meeting of the book and your brain.
