I didn't have a chance to run games for a while and got a bit rusty 🥲 So, when I finally got a chance to GM, I picked The Recycled Boy from #TalesFromTheLoop by Simon Stalenhag. I must have run that one shot 10+ times and it never disappoints 🧡 What are some of your favourite oneshots to GM?

Also, your post kind of made me realise what exactly I've been feeling is off with Candela Obscura 🤣 I've realised that I'm not used to systems who are that mechanically complex (relatively) and have NO combat rules. I can do simple mechanics with no combat, or complicated with combat rules. 🤣

I was meaning to get into the system! I'm not opposed to taking away the 'traditional flow of combat' but is it more like YZE or PbtA? Or is it just plain narrative with a few rolls to enhance?

Has anyone taken a look at #criticalrole #daggerheart already? I know they've released an oneshot as well. As far as ttrpg go, does it have the potential to be even a little bit of a competition to D&D? 🤔

Alchemy! Roll20 and me are lifelong enemies by now, Foundry is too much effort (and I've got a shitty internet provider). Owlbear Rodeo is cool tho! Saved me many times over the years <3

I wouldn't consider a filling as a surgery, more like a procedure? Removing wisdom tooth tooth though could be a surgery, depending if you go under for it or just get topical anesthetic 🤔 But it might be cultural difference, since I'm EU. It's not common in my country to use gas ect.

I know the feeling! I bought stylized wine glasses and all the decor for the scene when they dine with the BBEG but it's still way way out there. AND I CAN'T TELL! But piloting kaiju seems like a blast!!!

Nice! I'm waiting for their system builder, but in the meantime, I'm moving most of my PbtA games there. At least the simpler ones that don't require much. I've also got to play D&D and it was enough for my tactical needs 😂

Avatar is on my shame pile, but tbh after watching the first episode of the Netflix series I feel underwhelmed 😅 I might give the original a rewatch tho, coz the itch is there.
