I understand that view, but some of the desperate people that I knew who voted for him also had people of color in their families - anger at being left behind seemed to be their main motivation. I think that the Dems need to offer something more for them than "we're not Trump!".

But I've worked with people who had the "burn it all down" attitude and voted for Trump. Those people earned minimum wage, had no hope of ever owning a home, could not even afford to rent a safe place to live and were poorly educated due to cuts to public education. What have the dems done for them?

I agree that the oligarchs that support him because it insures they will accumulate more wealth are not victims.
