Using survey data from 🇩🇪 🇳🇴 🇵🇱 🇪🇸, the paper explores how football fandom promotes trans-European communication and travel, thus contributing to (the prerequisites of) social cohesion across the continent. In doing so, fandom reproduces rather than alleviates (some) underlying structural inequalities.
