the main reason the research app uses lots of colourful windows is because most people who use it have multiple things open at once, so the colors help quickly identify related windows

feels similar to pile but builds a lot on it! would be a separate pair of apps for mobile/desktop.

thank you! I would wait closer to v1 to migrate– 1000s of items shouldn't be a problem. I do want to try and add a way to sync with zotero seamlessly, but it'll be after some more work on the main app

will consider it, right now notes go in the DB, but could be saved into files next to items for access via obsidian.
