Buy the bike that makes you want to go out and ride - the Strael 4.0 is that bike for me alright (as I sit soaked to the skin but happy on a Lizzie Kine train back from the Chilterns)

No, but might be useful, thanks - I'll have a watch today.

Bike fit results in - can't replicate my optimal position on a Strael (longterm back stuff), so can on a Secan so might head in that direction (and I like the orange colour at least!)

The half-term walk to nursery once again confirming that it isn't cycle lanes that cause congestion

Also - re-routing away from it forces me to cross Kensington & Chelsea with it's complete lack of suitable E-W main route cycle lanes

When I used to work on-calls for the Marsden at weekends, I would occasionally get caught like that and get called to the one I wasn't already at - long day at Chelsea -> Sutton -> home in Ealing at 3am on a Brompton was a particularly highlight

Just got the email about #Discovery+ and the price hike for the cycling - have really enjoyed getting into watching cycle racing - but no more (and I'm sad about it) - £30/month v poor value for someone who doesn't really watch other sport.

I miss the #GCN app!

Did the parkrun and tonight the club run for the first time in months (slowly coming back from a running injury and also just busy - but have kept up my cycling fitness) and my Garmin is acting like I've just run back to back marathons!

Have just seen that #Fairlight are about to launch the Strael 4.0 - perfect timing as about to start the search for n+1

(Any other suggestions for 200km+ audax bikes welcome)

How did I miss this study when it came out a few months ago? Google Scholar normally emails me about anything that even mentioned cycling. Anyway - WOW, look at the effect sizes for the benefits of active travel
