I think this is especially underlined for non-Western countries, but I will say that so often even people in Canada have to contend with the glowing appreciation people from elsewhere have had for Trudeau or Carney, who are definitely not what they seem from international perspectives.

More often than not, people are basing that valourization on an international reputation that doesn't agree with the experiences of people within that country.

That people are applauding the María Corina Machado NPP nomination even after she dedicated her prize to Trump just underlines for me that people should not, even with good intentions, valourize politicians in other people's countries.

Carney has no ethical compass to speak of.

It is so disgusting to me that this type of cronyism is right now overhauling what Canada even is.

Carney is gutting everything, including democracy itself, to ensure everything benefits his pals.
