Reading a book about the weeks leading up to the First World War. Right as things were about to get going British Foreign Secretary Sir Edward Grey said "The lamps are going out all over Europe, we shall not see them lit again in our life-time". It really echoes how I'm afraid things feel now.

I really like it. It's the 2 not the 1+, which is what first caught my eye. It packs up really small and it's got good, really smart usable space inside. Goes up & down quickly once you've done it the first time.

Pro-Palestine VCU student wins appeal, will receive degree after university withheld it VCU told Sereen Haddad they were withholding her degree as they probed her involvement in a pro-Palestine demonstration school officials claimed violated conduct policies.

"I want to be clear that this was not VCU choosing to do the right thing, or them waking up and realizing they had erred," Haddad said, adding that she'd only won after appealing VCU's decision. "This was the result of pressure on a case they couldn't defend."
