I used a 5 gallon black square bucket off Amazon. I added a 3 gallon black bucket full of dry beans and canned veggies. That changes the diet from a “keep alive” to a “keep alive & healthy” diet. Anyway now I have 12 of both. Took me a bit to put together but started as soon as trump was elected.

YES! That’s how you start your 12 mo. emergency stash. One 20 lb bag of rice at a time. They’re $12-$16 up here in Alaska. I put one bag in a bucket with canned spam, tuna, chicken. Add jolly ranchers, vitamins, tiny can openers, lighters, lifestraws & done! That’s 1 mo. for 4 (“keep alive” diet).

I had to explain to my son why there are no actual “food stamps” any more, just like there are no more free lunch punch cards for the poor kids at his school. He was incredulous. “People would bully them because they were poor???”
