On Saturday, I went to the cinema in the West End, back home (via collecting a fan from John Lewis, coz heatwave), then back out to a gig in Shoreditch. Public transport worked as well as it’s ever done in my 25 years here. No pint was over £7. And I didn’t find anything to be racist about
