Today the order banning #PalestineAction as "terrorists" came into effect. But they are not terrorists. They are protesters trying to stop a genocide. This is a "first they came for ..." situation. Unless we stand in solidarity against this assault on our freedom, they will pick us off one by one.

#WriteCBC tip from @gabriellegriffiths.bsky.social: Deftness and specificity can tell a reader more than reams of description. When you walk into a room or meet a new person, it will often be a small detail that stands out. Learn to hone in on these specifics and use them to your advantage.

I entered #WriteCBC when Greater Sins was in its very early days...delighted to be coming full circle and setting June's task!

A person with long lie lies in a hollow in the ground in a curled up position. There are tree roots either side of them and in the distance fields and a wooden building. The image has 3 colours, it's predominantly black, with yellow used for the fields and roots and white for the person and title.

#GreaterSins by @gabriellegriffiths.bsky.social is a darkly tense and atmospheric novel set during WWI. Lizzie finds a woman's body in the peat bog, creating a catalyst for superstition, rivalry and reflection in an isolated community.
