A textile slot book made up of pages of mini landscapes. The landscapes are made using scraps of different fabrics sewn together.

My mini landscapes book is finished. Only had one hiccup where I sewed one bit upside down and had to unpick.

I need to find somewhere locally that has conkers! One thing I've not come across so far.

I need to do the same near our washing line!

Cushion made with a simple embroidery of a hen, chick and three eggs using backstitch, running stitch and French knots. The embroidery is bordered with bands of blue floral and yellow spotted material.

Cushion is finished!

Mini landscapes made with scraps of fabrics with a neutral border sewn log cabin style. There is a spiral sewn over the top in a variegated thread to secure the scraps of fabric.

Sewed borders on my mini landscapes. Now I need to make them into a fabric book.

I get it from my mum, she turned her hand to so many different crafts and created some beautiful things. At the time I was busy with our family and working so didn't really appreciate how talented she was. I hope she would approve of my efforts if she were still alive.

Me holding a small piece of slate with wool weaving across it. The wool is a variegated one ranging from green to gold and very textured.

Second craft of the day, some weaving on a piece of slate from the garden. The wool is one I picked up from the charity shop which was a nice find.

A hand stitched journal made with a variety of papers. The papers are painted with watercolors using different techniques to create texture.

Made myself a little at journal today.
