I was probably at that game as well. One time when the Habs came it was Tuxedo Night when everyone dressed formally - that added to the ambience. As well as St Boniface, there’s quite a number of French towns near
Winnipeg and I’m sure some people drove in from those towns as well.

I know their coffee would be best served in prisons (luckily its lava temperature covers up the taste) but Tim Horton’s has a great TV ad with Sid, Nate and guest stars Fleury and Marchand.

As a Winnipegger, if I bother to cheer for a baseball team it’d be the Minnesota Twins.

British television crime dramas are so damn intriguing. We just binged the sixth season of Unforgotten and are especially amazed by the writing of Chris Lang who has us thinking we knew ‘who did it’ maybe 15 times over 6 episodes. When the end came, the resolution made sense but might shock some.

They’ll do it before there’s a chill in the air.

They think exactly the same way about building a pipeline to Churchill. No regard for Manitoba or the environment.
