That's what I told myself a year ago and here I did it! Didn't even finish last! I crashed spectacularly, sprung up and finished 2 more laps. I recommend giving it a go just to see what you can do!

To be clear: I bikepacked 60 miles, camped, biked 15 more miles to the race, raced, biked 15 more miles back to the campsite , camped, then biked 60 miles home. Ooph!
