Suppose it were a woman MP who was caught on camera, maggoted and ranting at an event.

She'd be gearing up for a fortnight-long news cycle in which she'd be forced to admit having an unhealthy relationship with alcohol, encouraged to divulge personal information, and made to apologise repeatedly.

Sadly not surprising as it demonstrates the party line and current government’s conservative agenda with its deep lack of humanity.

My heart has been breaking for so many the moment the last election was concluded.

So much commitment cannot be unseen or unnoticed regardless.

If I was any of the c…’s who have convinced themselves the decision and subsequent process was in the name of feminism, I would be feeling the heat from this representative of women choosing to publicly do what the sitting MP’s neglected to do.

This government is creating a rod for their own back.

If those choosing to work in government departments are not being listened to re process and at the same time they fear that their jobs aren’t safe and they have core values about integrity then an authoritarian approach is not a solution.

The Green budget has great stuff in it and it frustrates me no end that they get treated like "tree-hugging weirdos" while National, who were told that their landlord tax cuts didn't add up before the election, get to throw women under the bus and still are somehow "safe hands" for the economy.
