I'm pretty sure there are studies about how glass box "luxury" housing does attract internationally held dollars causally because, especially thanks to Trump, you can park your money and never pay capital gains.

But demand is just a function of completely distorted wealth distribution, so maybe you're the dumb one who bows down to capital? We have entire cities rotting while three of the most absurdly over capitalized corporations in the world distort our housing market. Tax the rich. Don't ruin cities.
