This was horrendously evil.

Several Chicago cops leaving the criminal courthouse. The first is wearing a black MOLLE style vest (the kind with straps and velcro to attach all your random shit to). The one behind him is wearing a dark navy blue MOLLE vest with black panels on it. He appears to have at least one superfluous patch on his vest. The one behind him has the same style vest with what appears to be a Colombian 🇨🇴 flag patch on the chest.

Additionally, many/most police departments allow cops a *choice* of which style/brand of vest to wear. This helps accommodate different body types (physical build, having boobs or not) and increase wearing compliance. Vests are usually purchased by the officer with their uniform allowance.
