I would never argue that cars got worse over that time. I only scream from the rooftops that our labor was devalued, especially lower income people. And automakers started making cars for wealthier people.

We are at like $84,000 in 2025. A Porsche 911 is $120,100.

In 2002, a 911 was 97% of the median salary.
In 2025, a 911 is 143% of the median salary.

I think you could take out weighting by comparing the cost of the car as percentage of income. So if the car was 50% of your income in 2002 and it's now 65% of your income in 2025, your wage has not kept up with inflation.

Because most of tax dollars go to the military. People who are mad about churches not paying taxes would fix that immediately. We are just as mad about the government not feeding people. But Churches are commanded by God to feed the poor.
