Third day back from leave feeling recharged from a few weeks in Gran Canaria. Nice to catch up with friends and also make new ones. After finishing a previous book in the series by #ThomasErikson, I've started my next read. Looking forward to finishing this book.

Tonight Trish and I have been at Old Church Rooms for the Radyr & Morganstown Women’s Institute meeting. We demonstrated lifesaving techniques and how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) #JustInCase. 32 members going away with lifesaving skills.

This morning I joined @gwynracliffe.bsky.social for a St John Ambulance Cymru community first aid awareness session in Pentyrch. Wonderful participation and conversations with members of the local community. More people armed with the skills on how to save a life #JustInCase they need to use them!

All good things come to an end including returning from a few weeks leave in Lanzarote. This holiday’s read was #surroundedbyidiots by Thomas Erikson following recently redoing my Insights preferences a few months ago for the second time since joining NHS a decade ago. Sadly didn’t bring☀️ back.

A very festive evening at St John Church Cardiff for St John Ambulance Cymru Christmas Carol Concert in aid of the St John Eye Hospital. Wonderful performances from SJAC National Choir, Anthony Stuart Lloyd and Cor Heol-Y-March. Wonderful to see so many supporters this evening raise vital funds 👁️ 🏥
