Big win for civil society, a ton of groups weighed in against this as it was gaining momentum.

At this point in late stage capitalism, generative AI exists and can make people money, so it will continue to exist. Eliminating it is unrealistic, so our best hope is to regulate it. (It's a bit like saying "cars shouldn't exist"). There are (medical) uses of AI which can save lives.

I thought it was clear, but just to say it out loud for the AI enthusiasts - this GIF is 100% human made! No AI was used to "help" create it (obviously? which would be against the spirit of the piece?)
