- Deceptively big two roomed bar
- the Rum Old Fashioned was dead on, the Negroni not so much
- I was the oldest person in there

Apparently Heatons The Hussar and it's sister venue in Sunderland ,The Ivy House have both been acquired by Punch Taverns.

My baseline Brown Beer is Bass , I'm not great at flavour profiles other than it tastes nice 8)

Has to be said I'm a bit of brown beer flavoured beer fan.
I'm always a bit cautious of beer with loads adjuncts chucked into it.

Mind you I think adding ice to vodka makes it a cocktail

A news article titled “Camerons places four sites on market as part of strategic review.” It reports that Camerons Brewery is selling four pub sites for a combined £1.55m: The Wheelhouse in Washington (£275,000), The Mitre in Bishop Auckland (£350,000), the Head of Steam in Hull (£475,000), and the Head of Steam in central Newcastle (£450,000, available for sale and leaseback). A statement from finance director John Foots explains the strategic review, the rationale for selling these locations, and the company’s continued commitment to the Head of Steam brand, including expansion after success in Manchester. The article notes the company opened its first Manchester site in 2019 and now operates 15 Head of Steam locations. Christie & Co is marketing the four sites.
