Ever wondered why walking around museums is weirdly tiring? At normal speed our legs act like pendulums, swinging forward from the hip & saving us a huge amount of energy. In "museum shuffle" our muscles must do ALL the work of constant readjustment. So cake in the cafe is scientifically justified πŸ₯³

Zonal pricing would make energy bills cheaper... Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

Great Britain wastes billions of pounds switching off wind turbines & wasting energy.

Zonal energy pricing would put that energy to work & make bills cheaper.

When I see research results like these here my conviction to teach people a basic gut feeling of data grows stronger. Folks think that one in five people are transgender?! That’s soooo off. People think that 40% have served in the military?! That’s one of the reasons I share so many charts and maps.

Elon Musk Admits X Is Making It Harder for People to Read News The world’s richest man has finally admitted he’s essentially censoring news articles on X.

It will probably come as no surprise to anyone to hear that Elon Musk has now admitted that X (formerly Twitter) is throttling link-based posts, essentially stifling news articles on the social media platform. Thankfully we now have @bsky.app
