Yeah that's what I thought, as a matter of exemple I just finished Shameless which has my favorite gay love story in fiction so far notably because it adresses subjects we talk in the community or it adresses gay sex very realistically, including risk reduction, how to prep for anal etc

I also tend to dislike fiction that play too much with top / bottom clichés but again that's a matter of taste

I see! In my circles I saw a lot of gay people saying they didn't feel represented by the show and excluded of the fandom but that the global storyline is good. It's just a matter of taste imo I personally don't enjoy sex scene / romance when it's not realistic, especially when it's queer
