Gambling in games isn't fun - it's addictive. It's addictive by design. If you keep coming back to a game just because "I need to do my dailies and then I'll be done!"

Video games are fun. The stories are fun, playing with friends is fun, running around living out a power fantasy is honestly fun.

This peace will oftentimes create an intense resistance to anyone telling them that they CAN find a partner, and that it is possible that they can be helped.

Not all incels subscribe to blackpill ideology - it is sort of the "end point" they reach when they give up the hope that they can find a partner.

One key point to know here is that the black pill philosophy gives them hope - hope that they can find peace with the idea of being alone.

Some quick, off the cuff definitions:

Incel: an individual who is "involuntarily celibate."

Black Pill: The philosophy that there are individuals who are genetically incapable of having a romantic partner, and that peace can be achieved by accepting this as fact.
