daaamn ok i didnt know they were aiming that high. im talking way more out my ass but theres weird stats. overall fortnite playerbase is stagnating or decreasing with major bumps during holidays (xmas and black friday/cyber monday i assume). seems v optimistic/risky to dump that much money into it

what even is their endgame with the fortnite creation stuff? fortnite could turn into the "new roblox" with an entire development suite but it still feels like a dead end on top of a dead end. coupled with this news it strikes me as a quick milk before the flame of fortnite dies.

IGF & GDCA were insanely disappointing. cognitive dissonance throughout the event (denouncing fascism and AI yet their platinum sponsor is Microsoft). IGF had a ton of interesting games at least. GDC just did a worse version of VGA (mainly ads). ill drop a list of my favorite games shown eventually
