Completely agree - never had a run under Warne and usually came on out of position in a losing game. Was very good under his previous very good coach.

If we’d have made the 65-70 minute ‘gas out’ subs of the previous era it would’ve unravelled wouldn’t it - keeping the shape was key

Was hopeful we’d see a new Harness - if a player is good under McKenna and poor under Warne, it’s probably not down to the player.

Good to read about #dcfcfans. A few points to note- Whittaker played lots for first team. Robinson didnt make debut this year - came on once in 2021, didn’t feature in league under Warne at all. Only breakthrough in Warne era is Dajaune Brown. Kaide Gordon also worth mention - sold to L’pool at 16

Agree - most targets named fall neatly into one of two categories: recruitment team ‘project’ signings (mostly young and/or overseas), or Warne’s ‘50 phone calls’. Doesn’t seem coherent at all.

Looking at squad at start - you can subtract Bradley, Collins, Chiwera, Wash, Nelson. Cashin? Will we see CBT, Brown, Wilson anytime soon? Phillips? Ward rarely features. That’s a lot of bodies if nothing else.
