Sucks. I've had 11 for a while and to some degree you can hack it into submission, but I've decided to just dual boot with Linux. But I'm not gonna pretend that Linux is for everybody. Between random driver issues and issues for certain hardware niches...well, that's why I still dual boot

It's been a lot of fun. The voice acting alone is worth it. And if course if you never played the War of the Lions version, you get that translation too.

Phantasy Star 4. I was a gamer for a long time before that, but that's the earliest one I can remember that has really stuck with me. Probably the first game to give me emotional damage too 😂

We had a Genesis with Sega Channel. SNES has some amazing games that I played later on in life, but I have to claim the title of Sega Kid. Phantasy Star 4, Shining Force, and so many other awesome games are very near and dear to me

You made a judgement call that made perfectly good sense at the time. It's sad, no doubt,especially when you have to be the one to find them in that condition. But you did save both Cloud and Zack and that's something to be commended and celebrated. 🫂

Tried installing through Steam and the game wouldn't even load. Installed with the EA launcher and I think it configured everything right to start it via Steam afterwards. Only played for like 30m or so though. Might need to give it another go

I love NYC but this is so real. Last time we ended up going to a thing there it was one of the busiest weekends of the year, and I spent multiple days scouring for rooms until I finally got something passable for like 300 a night. Must have been someone else's cancelation

It felt so backwards having to go from Maine to New Hampshire, of all places, to get a vaccine without a script. I don't even think they have any in Maine even if you do have a prescription. Or at least it was that way a week ago.
